Elizabeth Morris became a registered architect in 2014. Before focusing on home renovations, her work centered on historic rehabilitation, like the transformation of Atlanta’s City Hall East into Ponce City Market. Although Elizabeth loves to obsess over interior details of a home, she also prizes the unique character of a house and its surrounding neighborhood. She grew up in Decatur, and is happy to still call it home.
Elizabeth earned her Master of Architecture degree with High Honor from Georgia Tech in 2009, and went on to study Urban Design at Tech (Master of Science with High Honor, 2011) and Historic Preservation at Georgia State University (Graduate Certificate, 2011).
Richard Stevens attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, College of Architecture, and received his Bachelor of Science with High Honor in 1983, a Certificate in Energy Studies in 1983, and a Master of Architecture degree in 1985.
Richard's academic studies focused on emerging technologies for energy efficiency, including super-insulated building envelopes, active and passive solar design, and computer simulation of building energy performance, pre-dating today's sustainable movement by more than 30 years. Through continuing education, Richard stays informed of sustainable materials and techniques to save homeowners money and contribute to a healthier environment.
